Genre:

In the PC adventure game Undercover: Operation Wintersun, British physicist Dr. John Russell went on a hunt for a German nuclear bomb in WW2. Now the reluctant spy returns in a prequel to the espionage adventure: on the Nintendo DS, he investigates in a British research facility.

Undercover: Dual Motives is a classic point & click adventure gaming "to go", with innovative game-play enabled by the unique features of the Nintendo DS. In addition to John Russell, players have access to a second playable character in Audrey, the secretary of the facility's director.

Using both screens, John and Audrey find clues and solve puzzles. Most of the time, they work separately, the player controlling one at a time. The characters are controlled with the stylus on the touch screen, while the other screen shows the currently inactive character. At any time, the player can switch between the two with the push of a button. The player is in charge of cleverly using the abilities of both in order to solving the game`s always logical puzzles - whether the two of them are in the same room or separated by a locked door.
